Q: Why is it called the 12 hours of Potluck anyway?
A: In the beginning, the 12 hours of Potluck was a meeting of kindred cycling spirits looking for a fun way to spend a day beating their buddies into the ground to prove who was toughest over the long haul. The Harlow Lake area was chosen as the venue for the first of these events. Because the first gatherings where not fully sanctioned or permitted... the code name "Potluck" was used so those in the know knew where to go. (Potluck is the name of the creek running through much of the Harlow lake area). You are now "in the know"...
A: The answer is "yes"...
A: At the urging of past participants all prizes are randomly awarded. If you're coming to win, you're racing for glory.
A: We'll get back to you on that real soon.
A: We have no idea.
A: Riders are welcome to bring tents/canopies for day
use in the pit area.
