Company History

 

Jon Becker and Dan Powell started this thing called blindstoker back in 2000 while we were both laid up with injuries to keep us involved with our cycling friends. somehow we got to talking about people who ride for the sheer joy of riding. Wind in your face, pushing the pedals, not even caring where you're going kind of joy.  It's still this core philosophy that still drives us. 

 

Over the years there have been numerous co-conspirators --

liberal procurers of office supplies, propagandists,

barley pop sherpas,

poker cheats,

a six foot banana and

one naughty cheerleader...

 

These days blindstoker is primarily the work in progress of Jon Becker, Greg Potvin & Matt Rich.

 

If you've been to an alleycat, cross race or the Potluck in MQT over the last ten years, you've been to a blindstoker event.

Thanks hardly seems like a strong enough response for all you two did at putting on a great race.

It was awesome fun... all of it- the course, the pit hangout, food, friends, thinking more about beer then drinking it.

If the stars align we will have a team ready to ride next year.
